Late submission: work submitted after the defined deadline will be accepted up to 5 days after the due date. For each day or fraction beyond the due date, the assignment will be penalized in 10 points per day.

Extensions: Extension will be granted on per-case basis. The request for extension needs to be sent at least 1/2 day before the due date.

Originality of work: Any work submitted to this class is expected to be original. This means that you should not have submitted this or any similar work to another class. This also means that in developing you work you have used your words, and when using text or ideas from other sources you have cited them appropriately, making sure to use quotations marks when necessary.

Use of Turnitin.com: The instructor has the right to submit any work to Turnitin as a tool to help assess originality. We will be giving access to Turnitin to all students, so they can submitted their work directly. The research paper in particular has to be submitted by students themselves and the report submitted with the paper.

Providing sources in electronic form

: The instructor might request that you submit electronic copies or links to such copies of the resources you have used in any of your assignments.
